FileMaker does not support the display of system-wide services in a contextual menu. Therefore, you must select the phone number you wish to dial in FileMaker and then invoke the “Dial Number on iPhone” menu item in the FileMaker Services menu:

You may also integrate PushDialer more closely with your FileMaker database by using our custom script. Follow the directions below to import and enable your FileMaker database for dialing with PushDialer:

1. Import the “Dial Number with PushDialer” Script

   In FileMaker, open the database that you wish to add PushDialer support to and then open the “Manage Scripts” dialog by selecting Scripts → Manage Scripts (or by pressing Shift-Command-S). Next, click the Import button in the “Manage Scripts” dialog and select the PushDialer.fp7 database. Once you have selected the PushDialer.fp7 database, you will be presented with a list of scripts contained within it:

   

   Simply check the box next to “Dial Number with PushDialer” and hit OK.

2. Configure Field or Button for Dialing

   Add or locate the field or button that you would like to trigger the dial request when the user clicks on it. In “Edit Layout” mode, right click on the field or button and select the "Button Setup…" menu item:

   

   Next, select Perform Script in the “Button Setup” dialog and click Specify:

   

   In the “Specify Script” dialog, select the “Dial Number with PushDialer” script that you imported in Step 1 above and populate the “Optional script parameter” field with a List containing the Phone Number (as the first item) and optionally the Name to send along with the request (as the second item):

   

3. That's it!

   When you are finished, save and close out all of the dialogs and exit the “Edit Layout” mode. You should now be able to click on the field and have it dial the phone number with PushDialer.

Please Note: You must have the PushDialer iPhone app installed on your iPhone and the Mac Desktop Components installed on your Mac in order to establish a pairing between your iPhone and Mac and allow FileMaker to dial your iPhone.
